Happy New Year!

As we begin 2017, many of you are probably looking for ways to make the most of your IBM relationship and optimize your plans for business success in the new year. Participating in IBM conferences could help you with both of those goals—and there are four excellent events coming up in the first quarter alone.

In a perfect world, you’d be able to attend all of them—if your travel calendar is anything like mine, though, you’ll have to make some strategic choices. So, as the “event season” is about to cycle up with PartnerWorld Leadership Conference, Connect, InterConnect and Amplify, I wanted to give you a helpful primer. Because while they have some elements in common, each conference presents a specific opportunity for different Business Partners, so you’ll want to select the right event or mix of events for your organization. Here’s the 30,000-foot view to help you choose:

IBM PartnerWorld Leadership Conference: February 13 – 16, Las Vegas

The Leadership Conference is the year’s one global conference presented exclusively for IBM Business Partners. Designed for executives in particular, this conference can give you the info you need to facilitate collaboration with domain experts, enhance solution differentiation by incorporating cognitive capabilities, accelerate time to market by using the cloud, and increase sales by implementing digital capabilities and marketplaces. And of course, it’s a great opportunity to network with subject-matter experts and senior executives from IBM and other Business Partner organizations.

Connect, InterConnect and Amplify

IBM Connect, InterConnect and Amplify are conferences for both clients and Business Partners that focus on specific segments of the IBM solution portfolio. All include outstanding keynote presentations, thought-leading education curricula and Business Partner–specific tracks. You can also exhibit your solutions, contribute sponsorships, identify new sales opportunities, close deals with clients, network and more.
 
IBM Connect: February 20 – 23, San Francisco

IBM InterConnect: March 19 – 23, Las Vegas

The premier cloud and mobile conference, InterConnect 2017 could attract more than 22,000 people. Topics will include Bluemix and SoftLayer, hybrid cloud, process transformation, integration, Internet of Things, DevOps, IT service management, security and more. The Business Partner experience features a Business Partner Summit; Business Partner Ecosystem Café; Digital Marketing Workshop; and Summit and Idea Exchange for CSPs, MSPs and ISVs.

As you register for InterConnect, consider signing up for the InterConnect Sales Academy, which is February 16 – 18. Space is limited, so register early.
