IBM is redefining everyday work with Watson to help organizations empower people with the ability to find, connect and work with the right experts; speed access to relevant content and insights; and provide the time and space to work simply and together.

By applying advanced analytics and cognitive capabilities across a spectrum of video, voice, unified communications, enterprise social networks, team collaboration and email offerings, planned joint solutions will learn from the complex richness of our conversations to help us be more productive and effective.

IBM and Cisco: Helping everyone achieve their best work

IBM is building this platform with a vast ecosystem of partners, so users can take advantage of their entire workplace and market environment, not just a few siloed applications. Our IBM Business Partners will be able to equip customers with the latest collaboration apps they want, from a variety of sources.

Alongside our clients and Business Partners, IBM is creating the workplace of the future, with an open, connected platform that will:

  • Deliver a cloud-based, Watson-enhanced suite of collaboration tools, including offerings from both IBM and Cisco

Lou Sassano is Director, Global Business Partner Sales, Social Business. Mr. Sassano joined IBM as part of the PureEdge acquisition in 2005, and is responsible for global Business Partner sales within IBM’s Collaboration Solutions brand. He manages a worldwide team of sales and business development leaders that oversee revenue performance for all geographies, as well as specific product sets. Sassano earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in finance and marketing from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
