Partner Experience Transformation Watson Worldwide

Expanding opportunity with Watson Build: Phases One and Two extended!

I’m pleased to be able to tell you that if you haven’t joined the Watson Build challenge for Business Partners yet, it’s not too late. In fact, it’s just the right time to get started, because we’ve moved the deadline to submit business plans for judging to Tuesday, May 30! I know this is great news for many of you who wanted to participate, but needed the extra time.

In this week’s update from the road, I can share that we’re running Watson Build workshops in Taiwan today and Australia tomorrow, and next week we’ll be seeing you in Turkey, Israel, Poland, Romania, Denmark and Sweden. That’s a lot of traveling—but it’s worth it to see first-hand how much excitement the Watson Build is generating and to talk with many of you about your innovative plans and solutions.

Now that we’ve seen your keen interest in the challenge, we want to see more! So in addition to the extended deadline, we’ve also enhanced the Watson Build program with dozens of brand-new workshops around the world and more opportunities for you to compete and win! Read on to learn more about the expanded opportunities with Watson Build:

More time to submit: We’ve extended the deadline to submit your business plans for judging. Now you have until Tuesday, May 30, at 5 p.m. EDT. By extending the deadline by two weeks, we are expanding the opportunity for more Business Partners to compete for a chance to become a GEO champion. Need guidance on developing your business plan? Review our latest blog post on our example business plan.

More opportunities to compete and win: We’ve expanded the award opportunities. Now one Business Partner from each of the seven geographies may compete in the final round, with a wildcard round to allow an additional Business Partner from any geography to compete to win in the final round. Now, eight Business Partners will enjoy the chance to compete for the title of IBM Watson Build global champion.

More time to learn: We’ve have added more Watson Build Workshops around the globe. Since PWLC, we’ve hosted more than 25 workshops in each of the geographies. And we’ve added seven more for Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Review the latest calendar and find a workshop session near you.

So take advantage of this opportunity and join the Watson Build today! It’s a great time to learn how to use Watson to deliver innovative solutions to your clients, and discover how it can accelerate your journey to cognitive and enhance your competitive position. And as always, I look forward to your ideas and comments.
