IBM All-Flash solutions are triple Product of the Year finalists

SearchStorage.com and Storage Magazine announced their 15th annual Product of the Year finalists in six different storage categories on January 6th. IBM placed three finalists in the All-Flash Storage Systems category. No other Flash vendor has more than one—while our chief rivals in the Flash storage marketplace don’t have any!

IBM All-flashOut of a total of seven finalist spots in the All-Flash storage category, IBM captured three, with FlashSystem A9000, FlashSystem A9000R and Storwize V7000F all being named finalists for the 2016 Product of the Year. Last year, we also had three finalists in the TechTarget Product of the Year competitions, and during 2016 IBM storage products garnered over 20 different awards and accolades: multiple Gartner Leadership Magic Quadrants; various awards and recognition from IDC for IBM Cloud Object Storage, FlashSystem and Spectrum Storage, among others; and Flash Memory Summit Best of Show in the Most Innovative Flash Memory Enterprise Business Application category. Being a TechTarget finalist just extends a trend for IBM Storage that has continued for several years.

All these accolades are very important for our Business Partners. The annual TechTarget Product of the Year competition involves data storage systems released or upgraded over the past year only.
