The airline business is a very competitive market and for Alaska Airlines to achieve its growth projections, it required fast, accurate financial planning analysis—IBM’s cloud offering was a perfect fit for Alaska Airlines because of the lower cost, minimal onsite IT resources required and fast deployment. Now Alaska Airlines is another satisfied customer, spending 80 percent of its time analyzing the business and only 20 percent on data collection. This is a big success story for Locus Solutions and Alaska Airlines and one that can be replicated with your clients.
