IBM LinuxONE Emperor II is here!

IBM LinuxONE Emperor II is here!

Join our October 10 webinar to learn more about how we are using it to create disruption and drive innovation within the channel ecosystem

On September 12, 2017, at The Linux Foundation’s Open Source Summit North America, IBM announced the IBM LinuxONE Emperor II, which will enable IBM Business Partners to help their clients achieve very high levels of security and data privacy assurance while rapidly addressing unpredictable data and transaction growth.

A key feature of the new LinuxONE Emperor II is IBM Secure Service Container. This is an exclusive LinuxONE technology that represents a significant leap forward in data privacy and security capabilities. For the first time, data can be protected against internal threats from users with elevated credentials or hackers who obtain a user’s credentials, as well as external threats.

How does this benefit IBM Business Partners?
With IBM Secure Service Container, software developers and systems integrators no longer have to create proprietary dependencies in their code to take advantage of advanced security capabilities. Applications hosted in a Docker container will be ready for Secure Service Container deployment, and the application can be managed using the Docker and Kubernetes tool to make Secure Service Container environments easy to consume. Additionally, cloud services providers and managed services providers can use IBM Secure Service Container to enhance their customer assurance agreements and simplify security measures.

How can you learn more?
IBM Business Partners, developers and clients can learn more by attending the Disrupting with Premium Cloud Services webinar on October 10, 2017. You can find a customizable invitation on the LinuxONE page on the PartnerWorld portal that you can download, tailor and send to your clients today. Business Partners are encouraged to attend and invite clients. You could even host a lunch-and-learn session with your clients and listen together.

The LinuxONE Emperor II announcement reinforces our commitment to providing businesses with the industry’s most secure and advanced enterprise Linux platform for data-serving and next-generation applications. I hope you can join us on October 10! You can also let me know what you think by using the comments feature below.
