Welcome back for your daily recap of PartnerWorld at Think! Today was the second—and final—full day of this year’s PartnerWorld conference, and it was a great one. With seven geography forums and five executive forum options today, attendees had another opportunity to dive deep into the topics that are most relevant to their business.
Exchanging ideas at geo and executive forums
The geography forums enabled Business Partners to connect with peers from their region and meet with IBMers to discuss how the new channel ecosystem strategy relates to their respective countries. During the forum, geography leaders also shared their visions for winning new business in 2018.
The second day of executive forums allowed attendees to again choose from a variety of vital topics, including several requested by Business Partners. 예를 들어, a forum on security examined ways to protect clients’ data no matter where it resides. An infrastructure forum explored approaches to implementing a robust environment designed for security, 클라우드, data and AI. Additional forums highlighted ways to accelerate the realization of client value with the IBM Ecosystem Program and underscored the importance of undertaking digital transformations.
Gaining new motivation at the Women in Channels Luncheon
After the morning forums, many attendees joined keynote speaker and CNN commentator Mel Robbins for the Women in Channels Luncheon. It was a packed event with women from across the channel discipline and around the globe in attendance. Robbins spoke about the importance of the “5 second rule,” referenced in her book “는 5 두 번째 규칙: Transform Your Life, Work, and Confidence with Everyday Courage.”
“The secret to changing is five seconds. We’re talking today about the gap between what’s happening to you and the reaction to it. That gap is five seconds long,” she explained. Energized by her talk, numerous Business Partners met Robbins in person at the book signing that followed.
Saying goodbye for now with the Sparkler Toast
And that’s a wrap! Before heading back to the airport or an extended weekend in Las Vegas, attendees celebrated a successful PartnerWorld at Think conference with a champagne toast and send-off at the MGM Grand. We hope everyone who attended leaves with new inspiration and information that will help propel growth.
