pense Madrid: Onde a tecnologia encontra a Humanidade
Em 13 novembro, clients and Business Partners joined IBMers, industry experts and leading experts at Think Madrid, o nosso principal evento na Espanha. Este ano, the theme was Onde Technology Meets Humanity, as we sought to address the challenges of the digital era and to explore how AI, Nuvem, Blockchain and the Internet of Things are transforming industry, business and society.
Our audience of 2,000 visitors included over 1,000 clients and 420 Parceiros de negócios, and we were able to stream the event to a further 900 online delegates via IBM Cloud Video, making this the biggest event in IBM Spain history.
Mais importante, Contudo, it was a chance to engage in an open exchange of ideas across a lively mix of plenary sessions, one-on-one networking, and our four campuses and conference areas—themed around AI, Nuvem & Dados, Modern Infrastructure and Security & Resiliência, and the Genius of Things theme zone.
One thing resonated clearly throughout the conference—and that was the power of the ecosystem in which IBM, nossos parceiros, clientes, pares, influencers, even our competitors are a part of. Every member of our extended ecosystem has a role in making the technology and solutions we develop, use and sell serve the interests of the people who use it, whether in business or in their everyday life.
Em particular, I want to call out the work of our Business Partner, KIO AI, who initially were due to join us in an exhibitor capacity. KIO AI’s anti-bullying solution, WatsomApp, made such an impact on the Think team that we instead asked them to join us onstage in the plenary session. This kind of solution—an IBM Watson-powered chatbot that enables teachers to tackle bullying in schools—is exactly what we mean when we talk about the impact that technology can have in making people’s lives better.
A further 26 Business Partners took part in the conference and exhibition areas, showcasing how they are utilising Security, AI, Cloud and Blockchain to unlock the potential of data in the service of business and society, and they were joined by client speakers throughout the sessions from the likes Orange, Santander, Iberia, Vodafone and Bankia.
The sessions from the event are available to view online, and we invite you to discover the power of IBM and our ecosystem’s capabilities by joining us.
If you were inspired by Think Madrid or you were unable to join us, then we urge you to register for Pensar 2019, IBM’s global gathering of the world’s leading thinkers, which takes place from 12 – 15 February in San Francisco.
Lá, you will have access to the cream of IBM’s leaders, Business Partners and clients from across the globe and leading technology experts. It is an event not-to-be-missed and we have a number of unbeatable incentives to make it easier to join us and get the most out of IBM’s premier global event.
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us in Madrid, and I look forward to seeing you again next year in San Francisco.
